An update at long last

I am attempting to update the blog once every year or two. I consider that "regularly".

Michael is back from Iraq and will spend the next year in Texas at Fort Hood. Ashley is living in Riverside, working hard and attending college at R.C.C. Isabella is a senior at Redlands East Valley High School and planning here schooling for next year. Samson is a freshman at the same high school involved in football and wrestling. Lilinoe is in fourth grade and continues her ice skating. We love them all and are quite proud of them. Nicole finished her masters degree last year and spent a month teaching in China... we are all grateful to have her home.

We are really proud of Ashley. She graduated from High school last month, voted most talented senior, sang the national anthem for the graduation ceremony and is preparing to attend Cal. State University in Fullerton CA.

Ashley has enough spunk for the whole family. We are sure she will make the world a better place.

Not only should mom get a new dog, but dogs are shown to increase the sense of community within a family--besides a mom needs a family member who won't talk back to her.

OK all you bloggers out there... this is my attempt to move into the new millennium. If I can actually create a family blog then anyone can. All it takes is a desire, a lot of apprehension and the backup support of two professional teenage girls. If things really get challenging I can always ask my 8 year old.
Hopefully if this really functions I can send out Christmas cards next year with just a reference to check our blog site. That's better than one of those family news letters that I receive and feel guilty about never writing.
Well we will see...
